​It all starts with COLOR – the most important element of the design process and often the most intimidating and frustrating for our clients.  As a certified color expert with the Confident Color System (CCS), Barbara will help with your color needs and develop the perfect palette for your home.

​The patented Confident Color System is based on the science of the color wheel and, based on an in-depth in-person color interview with our client, combining levels of color intensity to effectively create perfect color harmonies for interior spaces.  This color selection process is totally about YOU, the client—what you love, what feeling you want to evoke in a room, and what colors and items you already own and wish to feature. 

 A designer’s color expertise is absolutely essential for making the right color choices the first time around.  Sure, paint is relatively inexpensive, but anyone who has had to repaint after making a poor color selection will tell you the double work was time-consuming, disruptive, and costly.

​Barbara recommends Benjamin Moore, Sherwin Williams, and California Paints products, all top-quality brands with excellent color vibrancy and long-lasting paint durability.   She will provide you with large samples of each color and all the specs (colors, sheens, paint formulations) you can email to your painter to get your home project underway ASAP.  She can also recommend terrific painters if you should also need that service. ​
